Just Beauty Direct Reviewier of the Month – July 2007

So continued poor weather, plus postal strikes made July another interesting (for that read difficult) month. It certainly didn’t dissuade all you lovely buyers though – we had 367 new customers register with us in July, making it the busiest month since JBD started.
Thank you to all who have registered with us – you will receive details of our latest products (we have so many to list) and we thank all of you for your continued support and custom.

Now then – July’s review of the month – hard to choose – but eventually we went for Claire Olson’s review of the Smashbox Softlights Palette in AGlow. Some of you may remember this was actually in the Smashbox TSV in June 2007. Such was its popularity, it is now a permanent item on QVC. It received remarkable reviews on ST.com – most thought it was a sensational face brightener – although others were disappointed in the lack of ‘colour’ it gave. What was amazing was that after people went back and tried it again they fell in love with the soft healthy gleam it gives to the skin and most of us cannot live without it these days.

Claire’s review, along with others (both of whom, co-incidentally are previous review winners), really hit the nail on the head as to why I like it so much.

I love this product – can’t rave on about it enough! I don’t know how it does it, but there is definitely a noticeable difference when I apply this powder over my make-up. It sort of diffuses everything so I look all ‘a-glow’, smooth and finished. It’s fantastic, more luminous than shimmery and I wouldn’t be without it now!!
