Smashbox Guru Question

Just had a quick question to ask you about the Guru Softlights! I’ve seen pics of it and it looks quite dark, does it go on quite sheer or is it quite bright?
Answer from Jayne
Guru isn’t dark at all – but it is deeper than Capture. For me, I can wear it swirled together as an all over face colour, but only if apply it lightly – otherwise I look as though I have caught the sun.
As a fusion blush, if I just apply it swirled to my cheeks, it is perfect – a lovely warm pink (whereas I would say the capture was cool) and with this, to get a colour, you don’t have to apply as much as you do with capture, which means that you get less shimmer, and I think, as a result, you get a more natural blush.
You can really see the difference in the individual colours too – on some of the fusions, whilst the individual colours are pretty, they are all similar. Guru has more definition – the warm bronze on the end has more pigment in it (and could definitely be worn on the eyes) the gold at the other end would also work as an eye base or highlighter. The rather dark looking berry pink in the middle is a beautiful diluted Ribena colour (I know I will never win prizes for descriptions but that is it exactly – but it sheer and non shimmery – so very flattering). The two colours either side – pale coral and pale lilac are both classic fusion colours – very soft shimmer.
